Donna E. Shalala Student Center

The Donna E. Shalala Student Center (SC) was designed by renowned Miami-based Arquitectonica. The SC showcases the firm's signature style – incorporating dramatic, expressive modernism.

The rooms at the Donna E. Shalala Student Center are equipped with the latest in audiovisual capabilities. These capabilities include wireless internet connection, LCD flat-panel monitors or projectors and screens, and available A/V assistance.

The SC is an important addition to the University of Miami. The SC includes a 24-hour study space, lounge spaces, a Grand Ballroom, a Senate Room, multi-use meeting and activity rooms, and a media suite.
